Experiencing sore muscles
after a massage
Category Uncategorized

You may feel sore the day after your massage, almost like bruising or a mild ache. This is completely normal, especially when we ask so much of our bodies in our busy day-to-day lives. During your treatment, tension is released, circulation is stimulated, and your body begins to flush out built-up toxins and dead cells. Because of this, it is also normal to feel a little tired afterwards. By the second day after your treatment, you should start to feel fantastic, refreshed and rejuvenated.

Some of the benefits you may notice include improved flexibility and reduced pain. For example, when bending over to reach your toes, you may find that you can stretch further with less discomfort. Sitting at your desk for long periods may feel easier, and even simple movements like driving and checking your blind spot may become pain-free.

The benefits of massage are incredible, but unfortunately, they do not last forever. That is why regular treatments are so important. Think of it like servicing your car... your body needs regular care too. We recommend weekly massages for three weeks, followed by ongoing maintenance treatments every four to six weeks. Now it is your turn! Let’s keep that incredible machine  the human body, happy, healthy and pain-free.
